I have to admit that I travelled to Bosnia without much of an idea of what to expect. I was ignorant and completely naive. I'd seen the beautiful scenery of the country in friend's photos and I was expecting to get some pretty incredible shots myself. To be honest, I hadn't really thought much more about it. Whilst the goal of stunning photos was certainly achieved, I learned more about the history of wars that the country has endured and overcome, particularly its' most recent from 1992 - 1995. But most importantly, I discovered that behind the charm and beauty of this country lies some of the friendliest, most hospitable and resilient people I've ever come across. |
